Welcome to the Speak Life Podcast

We are a Gospel ministry reaching those in the field, on the water, on two wheels, behind a badge, and with a gun for Jesus Christ.

Proverbs 18:21 says that life and death are in the power of the tongue. We choose to speak life. L’chaim welcome to the speak life podcast.

The mission is to restore and strengthen the family; make followers of Jesus Christ, give hope, and to encourage one another. Rev. Blanchard officiates at weddings, funerals and provides pastoral service nationally to the individuals, couples and families. You can help this ministry grow: https://giv.li/p2nj61

We're helping others make better life choices, and provide a mobile Christian worship that transforms lives. We are making sense of things Eternal for those of us trying to live right, and enjoy the life we have.

Giving you what you might have missed in church when you were loving the outdoors, working, riding or serving. #hunters, #fisherman, #gunowners, #lawenforcement  #security, #veterans, #bikers

Aug 7, 2022

I was about to cancel this weeks episode because of my personal crisis but the Lord gave me something to share with you today.

I am stressed but highly favored.

My wife came home and it is kicking my butt.  I am the lone caregiver.  It is a blessing and not so much.  I am overwhelmed.  I feel inadequate.

Prayer.

The restoration of Peter.

Stress:  experiencing mental or emotional strain or tension.

Becoming easily agitated, frustrated, and moody. Feeling overwhelmed, as if you are losing control or need to take control. Having a hard time relaxing and quieting your mind. Feeling bad about yourself (low self-esteem), and feeling lonely, worthless, and depressed.

PETER

In Mark 14:26-31, Peter talks about how he would never deny Jesus. ("Even if all fall away, I will not" and "Even if I have to die with you, I will never disown you.")

And yet, we all know the story of what happens — it occurs just as Jesus said it would. Peter denies him three times at his trial, and after he had denied Jesus the third time, "he broke down and wept" (Mark 14:72).

After this, the Bible tells us that Peter thinks he is unworthy and returns to his old life as a fisherman. All of the disciples go with him.

The good news in all of this is that Peter was restored by Jesus, who is merciful, as John 21:15-25 reads.

Thank you Lord.

Thank you for continuing to listen, pray and be a part of this ministry.
