This month I want you to focus on getting right with God. I want you to create a habit of speaking to Him, and then listening. When God moves I want you to know it. We are going to start that with a refresher on prayer.
While everyone is trying to figure out what they are going to accomplish in 2022 (goals) I would like you to consider how you are going to live if you were going to meet God this year. What would you do differently? I’m not trying to be morbid or fatalistic BUT what IF my job was to help you make it into heaven with good counsel? What if I was responsible for reminding you to pray, to be saved, and be ready to speak of your hope. Some of prepare more for shopping trip than they do where they could end up for all eternity. What if Jesus was coming sooner than you think? Would you be ready?
We jokingly talk about the zombie apocalypse but what if the regular old End of Days was near? It is closer today than it was yesterday (FACTS). Do I have your attention?
You don’t have to be 60 years old to start thinking about dying. I am here to tell you that a lot of people younger than 50 died in 2021. Do you hear me?
How many chances do you get to change, repent, or seek God before He calls your number?
And even when I am old and gray, O God, do not forsake me, Until I declare Your strength to this generation, Your power to all who are to come. For Your righteousness, O God, reaches to the heavens, You who have done great things; O God, who is like You?
