Mardi Gras, Carnival, Fat Tuesday, etc. Its that time again and I want to share what I know about Mardi Gras, Lent and Salvation this week. Some think it is a religious holiday but I don't.
The stuff that happens in NOLA is cultural but not Christian. Not judging just sharing what’s true right now. For instance, the tradition of Lent is not biblical but if you want to fast for 40 days do it "as unto the Lord."
